Racó d’en Cesc is very anonymous, blink and you’ll miss it. But go through the doors and pass by the walls filled with photos of all the famous people who’ve been here to eat. In the back the dining rooms open up. The tables are few and far between which is wonderful, you feel like you can have a conversation without the people at the table next to you interrupting. The service is impeccable and the food is too.
IN A NUTSHELL
Atmosphere: You can’t see anything from the street, but once you go inside it’s a big space with several rooms.
Recommended: I love everything I’ve had there. They do excellent beer pairings with the dinners which is really interesting. Their wine menu is very extensive, and they really know what they are doing when it comes to wines (and beers). They also serve wines from many different countries, not only Spain.
Specifics: There is a lot of space between the tables, which is really appreciated when you want to have a relaxed dinner.
