Any chocolate lovers out there? I thought so..! If you are even a little bit into chocolate then a visit to Señor Brown is a must. Miquel is a chocolate magician, and you'd be crazy not to find out what he makes out of chocolate.
The place is a tiny hole in the wall and the menu is short, to the point and very rustic. But that's only one of the things that makes this place so darn charming. Places like these are unheard of in Barcelona, and I think of improvised gourmet experiences in Brooklyn, Neukölln or Shoreditch.
If you have your chocolate to stay it's served in beautiful copper mugs just like a Moscow Mule. Details like these make the experience even more worthwhile. You can also buy your chocolate in powder form so you can make it yourself at home, or maybe a chocolate bar is more your thing. The bars are charmingly packed in industrial paper, I love it!
Sometimes there are chocolate truffles, or beautiful brioche chocolate mochis. Whatever you have you can be sure that you'll feel all the creative love that Miquel puts into his work.
These are serious chocolate experiments, and I recommend that you take part as soon as possible! You won't regret it.
Señor Brown you can find on Enric Granados 3, just next to Cosmo Café.
