The 28 Best Brunches in Barcelona
In Barcelona we love a good brunch! And we don't have to queue outside for hours. In most places you can book a table in advance, which is wonderful. And often a walk-in works, if you come early. Here are my favorite brunch places:
Enkel - This place is fairly new and not many have found it yet, it's hidden on a quiet street in the Gótico. They have an amazing brunch menu, where else can you choose halloumi as an extra to your dishes? I love their French Toast too, it's out of this world. Read all about it here.
Baixada de Sant Miquel 6
Eat my Trip - A lot of love is put into this beautiful café with gorgeous cakes, healthy smoothie bowls and specialty coffee from SlowMov.
Consell de Cent 378
Bar Limón - Located just next to the Barceloneta metro station, this all-day breakfast and brunch place serves up pancakes like you haven't seen before. They are very dedicated to good products, and fun dishes. Plus they are very Instagram-friendly..!
Plaça de Pau Vila 13
Nolita Brunch - A hidden gem in Poblenou, only a minute's walk from the metro. They have cool Brooklyn vibe to the place, and their savoury pancakes and Eggs Benedict with pulled pork are excellent.
Little Fern Cafe - Poble Nou is lucky to have this cafe that is so lovely it will charm your pants off. Breakfast and brunch all day, and dumplings at night. Healthy and indulgent options, also for vegans and vegetarians. And beautiful brunch cocktails! Read my post here.
Carrer de Pere IV 168
Bistrot Levante - For a Brooklyn kind of vibe but with a homey feeling head to Bistrot Levante, where you are guaranteed value for money. Elaborated, beautiful dishes in a pretty little place.
Placeta de Manuel Ribe
Lulu Barcelona - This tiny little place focuses on healthy food, with really tasty (and pretty!) options.
Marquès de l'Argentera 7.
Sabio Infante - Gracia has a new living room, and that is lovely Sabio Infante. Go here for Donuts from La Donuteria on weekends, pancakes, avocado toasts and colourful Eggs Benedict.
Torrent de l'Olla 39
Flax & Kale Passage - My personal favourite of the Teresa Carles empire is the new Flax & Kale Passage. It's cosy, all gluten free and the staff is very friendly. Plus it's super healthy of course!
Sant Pere Més Alt 31-33
Hammock Juice Station - This cosy place has plenty of healthy options, and VERY comfortable sitting hammocks to sit in. I love their bananas with peanut butter, and their yummy porridge. Read more here.
Zumito - Just next to the beach you can find this lush green terrace serving all-day breakfast, brunch and lunch. You can eat it there with sea views or take it with you. They pay a lot of attention to good, healthy ingredients and all of their packaging is eco-friendly!
Paseo de Juan de Borbon 78
Caravelle – They have all sorts of deliciousnesses (I know, it's not a word!) up their sleeve that you can’t find anywhere else. The French Toast, just go for it.
Carrer del Pintor Fortuny 31
Carrer del Consell de Cent 308
Consell de Cent 227
Mama's Café - A secret back patio is a real crowd pleaser here, and they have good organic options to choose from. Plus they open already at 10 AM, which is actually a real brunch hour, not 13.00 like many places open their doors for brunch. Read all about it here.
La Carioca - A wonderful, small Brazilian hangout that makes the fluffiest tapioca pancakes with dulce de leche. I adore it.
Plaça de Pau Vila 1
Galileu 261 (their coffee house is on Morales 27)
Carrer del Baluart 56
Maai - This place opens only Mondays to Fridays (8.00 to 16.00) but it's a great place for a good healthy breakfast or brunch. Their avocado toast is on point (with a limey twist), their açai bowl is packed with goodies and their savoury breakfast waffle is very tasty. The adzuki bean brownie is gluten free and covered in a coconut sugar caramel sauce, yummm..! Read full post here.
