Best Brunches in Barcelona
In Barcelona we love a good brunch! And we don't have to queue outside for hours. In most places you can book a table in advance, which is wonderful. And often a walk-in works, if you come early. Here are my favorite brunch places:
Enkel - This place is fairly new and not many have found it yet, it's hidden on a quiet street in the Gótico. They have an amazing brunch menu, where else can you choose halloumi as an extra to your dishes? I love their French Toast too, it's out of this world. Read all about it here.
Baixada de Sant Miquel 6
Sabio Infante - Gracia has a new living room, and that is lovely Sabio Infante. Go here for Donuts from La Donuteria on weekends, pancakes, avocado toasts and colourful Eggs Benedict.
Torrent de l'Olla 39
Flax & Kale Passage - My personal favourite of the Teresa Carles empire is the new Flax & Kale Passage. It's cosy, all gluten free and the staff is very friendly. Plus it's super healthy of course!
Sant Pere Més Alt 31-33
Dirty South - An all-American brunch is served in this new place that has a New Orleans kind of vibes. Their drinks are excellent and their brownie is to die for.
Caravelle – They have all sorts of deliciousnesses (I know, it's not a word!) up their sleeve that you can’t find anywhere else. The French Toast, just go for it.
Carrer del Pintor Fortuny 31
Carrer del Consell de Cent 308
Consell de Cent 227
Mama's Café - A secret back patio is a real crowd pleaser here, and they have good organic options to choose from. Plus they open already at 10 AM, which is actually a real brunch hour, not 13.00 like many places open their doors for brunch. Read all about it here.
La Carioca - A wonderful, small Brazilian hangout that makes the fluffiest tapioca pancakes with dulce de leche. I adore it.
Galileu 261 (their coffee house is on Morales 27)
Carrer del Baluart 56
L’Eggs – A more high-end brunch with items like bone marrow. Mmmmmhmmm.
