Just what we needed in this part of the city! Green & Berry is a health food place located on Enric Granados, almost by Diagonal. It's fresh and new, with interesting things on the menu. Just the fact that they have four (!) different açai bowls I find quite interesting! On my first visit I had their avocado toast, and it was a very pleasant experience. The bread itself is whole wheat, and it's covered with a LOT of avocado mixed with soft, salty pieces of cheese (similar to feta).
They have a very large assortment of juices and smoothies, all worth checking out. The juices are obviously cold-pressed, and have ingredients that you rarely don't hear about here in Barcelona (but are great for you!) like baobab. When it comes to smoothies you can add all sorts of ingredients to the smoothie base, similar to places like Liquiteria and Equinox that I really miss from NYC. And indeed the idea for Green & Berry stems from New York, the founder lived there for a year and brought with him a backpack full of ideas to implement in Barcelona.
There are lots of interesting baked goods too in the shop window, most of them vegan and gluten free. Raw Oreo anyone?
They open already at 8 AM, if you'd like to drop by to buy some breakfast to go for the office. If you prefer to stay in there's lots of room in the back so you can sit and work if you want to, and you can even bring your dog.
They have a fridge filled with goodies to take away too. There are lunch salads, overnight oats and chia puddings for breakfast, hummus... And of course a large fridge for all the cold-pressed juices too.
