The Born can feel a bit touristy at times, but there are plenty of gems to be found. Llamber is a fantastic example of this.
The restaurant is quite a large space but it still manages to feel cosy. There are cute corners here and there, different areas with different kinds of seating, and it all feels very inviting. The menu is comprised of items to share, and I can assure you that you’ll be surprised when you see the dishes. There is plenty of innovation behind the menu, but the focus is still on local and Asturian cooking.
IN A NUTSHELL
Atmosphere: Very inviting and cosy.
Recommended: The salmon carpaccio and the octopus parmentier.
Specifics: There’s a semi-open kitchen so you can catch a glimpse of what’s going on behind the scenes.
