Mont Bar is so unassuming. It just sits there, in a corner, with a terrace populated with tourists and locals, and presents a tapas menu. It looks like a bistro turned Spanish, and you think you know what to expect. You think you do. But you have no idea.
The dishes on the menu are all to share. They’re seasonal, and many of them consist of fresh seafood. There’s a lovely gourmet twist to each plate. And don't forget the desserts: the tiramisu looks different from any tiramisu that you’ve seen before, and it blends into perfection in your mouth. And the false apricot… You just need to try it.
IN A NUTSHELL:
Atmosphere: The decoration is gorgeous and inviting. It has a bistro feeling to it.
Recommended: Everything I’ve had here has been delicious. The menu looks like any tapas menu, but almost everything comes with a little twist, and some things aren’t what you expect them to be. The canelón is amazing, as are the suckling pig and and the tiramisu. The false apricot cake is an experience!
Specifics: It’s open all day, which means you can come and have an early dinner and the place isn’t packed. It’s also good for business dinners if you’re taking colleagues from out of Spain and don’t want to wait until 21h to eat.
Reservations: It’s a good idea to book in advance if you’re having dinner during local dinner times.
