Witty (The Wittmore)
In a dark alley in the Gotico you can find a hotel. There’s no sign, only a doorman standing at the entrance gives it away. You go inside, to the dark mysterious lobby, and through thick velvet curtains, and there you are: a speakeasy-style restaurant in a 5 star boutique hotel (The Wittmore). There’s a stellar chef in the kitchen, and a magnificent barman serving up crafted cocktails, so you will not be disappointed.
The decoration makes it cosy with the open fire, the wall full of books, the romantic lighting and the comfortable chairs. Forget about boring hotel restaurants, this is something very different: inspired by cool hotel restaurants and bars in New York and London where the locals outnumber the guests.
IN A NUTSHELL
Atmosphere: Mysterious and romantic. Few places in the city has managed to create such an interesting atmosphere.
Recommended: The cocktails, without a doubt. The tortilla-filled brioche and the ceviche are great.
Specifics: Check out the rooftop deck too, the views are fascinating!
Reservations: I’d book in advance, just in case.
