Chivuo’s was a success from the moment it opened. It’s one of those concepts that’s just what Barcelona needs. Inexpensive street food but made with a lot of love, and good craft beers to go with it. The place is small and if you arrive at local dinner time it’s packed, but usually you don’t have to wait for long to get a table or a chair at the bar. They have a big mural on the wall, look at it closely because it’s really well done and has a lot of interesting details!
Even though it’s very busy the staff always has a smile for you, and is always friendly and accommodating. That’s something you don’t come across every day..!
IN A NUTSHELL:
Atmosphere: Always busy since it’s a small place but it has a nice feeling about it.
Recommended: The craft beers are always great. The hamburger is really something, and the Chivuo’s fries with cheddar are delicious. Oh, and they have Philly Cheese Steak! And a vegetarian version of it! Save space for the cheesecake that comes in a cute little jar.
Specifics: The place was a hit from the start! They barely opened their doors and it was already packed!
Reservations: They don’t take reservations.
