Raval and Gótico are very different from each other, but both neighbourhoods have a lot to offer.
Raval is eclectic and fun, and has both traditional tapas bars and new and cosy little restaurants. I used to live in the Raval and it's very close to my heart..! There are lots of great bars to choose from too, with cheap, strong drinks. The main streets are Rambla de Raval, Joaquín Costa, Calle Hospital and Calle Carme. On all of these streets you'll find cool places to eat and drink.
Gótico is packed with tourists, but it's ok. There are great gems to be found here too!
