Funky Bakers Launches Picnic Season!
Do you know super cool bakery Funky Bakers in the Born neighborhood? They haven’t even been around for a full year yet but they have already taken the city by storm! Their little bakery is PACKED with yummy things, many of them which you can’t find anywhere else in the city. Smørrebrød, egg rolls, brownies with Earl Grey ganache, chia pudding, babka, their legendary cheesecake and much more! You can read lots more on Funky Bakers in my review here.
Now Funky Bakers is officially launching picnic season, and I’m really excited to share it with you! Who doesn’t love a wonderful picnic? But buying crappy stuff from the supermarket doesn’t make for a great picnic experience, and having to prepare lots of things yourself beforehand takes the fun out of it all. Funky Bakers has made it super easy for us: go to their bakery, pick and choose all the yummy things (including great vegetarian and vegan options!), and drinks like little bottles of champagne (!), ginger beer, coffee, iced matcha latte and much more. The staff will pack it all nicely for you AND you can buy a super cute picnic bag from cool local designer Octaevo AND a lovely picnic blanket for a very reasonable price.
Funky Bakers is perfectly located just a couple of minutes from the Ciutadella park, and really close to the beach too if that’s more your thing. There are lots of other great locations nearby, just check with the staff and they will be happy to help you out with suggestions.
Picnic season has now officially started!
