New places in Barcelona - November 2016
It's that time again! New places are opening all the time, and here is a list of 28 recently opened, that will open soon, and one place where the head chef has changed. I've included a couple that have opened already in summer too but weren't included in my previous editions (see links in the bottom of the page).
Cargo Cafe - Specialty coffee in a beautiful space, opened mid August. You can bring your dog. In addition to coffee they have bagels too, açai bowls, cakes and coffee cocktails. Muntaner 73. Instagram: @cargobarcelona
Roast Club Café - Specialty coffee (so many to choose from!) Opened in the beginning of October. It's tiny but lovely. Some cakes from our favourite The Cakeman Bakery too! Valencia 143. Instagram @roastclubcafe.
Micaela Pizzeria - Opened end of October in Gracia, on Calle Asturias (where Barcelona Reykjavik used to be). Pizza to take away, looks tasty.
Parker Café - Opened in October, they do brunch too, and a lunch deal. Looks beautiful! Aribau 3. Instagram: @parkerbcn
Eattitude - Healthy and organic food. "Mind-made food for happiness to feed your body and your soul". they say. Gluten free, lactose free. They do a lunch menu too, check their insta for details. They're not open in the evenings at the moment, so go early! Travessera de Gracia 43. Instagram: @eattitudebcn.
Restaurante Boket de la Boqueria - This is a butcher in the Boqueria, but now they have a restaurant too since late summer. Instagram: @boketbcn
Nakashita 2 - Nakashita in the Born has been tremendously popular, and now they have opened a second location on Valencia 363. Instagram: @nakashitabcn
Cafe del Mar Club - The biggest Cafe del Mar Club will open in Port Forum the first trimester in 2017. Instagram: @cafedelmarbarcelona.club
Mont Bar - Not a new place as we all know, but they have a new chef, Sergio Palacio. He used to be the head chef at Gaggan in Bangkok that was been chose the best restaurant in Asia. Shall be interesting! Diputació 220. Instagram: @mont_bar
Burret's - Organic tex-mex restaurant on Parallel 184 (realized through crowd funding!). Opened in September. Instagram: @burretsco
