Need instant stress relief? I’ve got just the remedy for you. Gatuari is a cat cafe located in Gracia, where you can sit down for a while, have a good cup of organic coffee, a Yogi tea, or maybe a juice (all local brands) and spend some time with the cutest cats you can imagine. All your problems will disappear in an instant.

Should you fall in love with one of the cats you can adopt it and take it home with you, after you’ve got to know each other well. The lovely and knowledgeable owners, Meritxell and Enric, make sure the cats all go to responsible homes, and many happy cats have found homes through Gatuari since it opened more than three years ago. Gatuari also arranges many interesting events and courses for cat owners and cat lovers.

Gatuari has a really great shop in the same space, with excellent quality cat foods, toys, cat care products, and wonderful and cute items for cat lovers such a gorgeous prints (perfect for gifts!), books and much more.

Gatuari also offers a new, excellent service of installing protection on balconies and windows: many, many cats have unfortunately had serious accidents and worse, when this can easily be avoided, for a small cost.

The team at Gatuari also provides a cat-sitting service which I have used on numerous occasions. A member of the team comes to your home once a day (or more often if your cat needs medication several times a day) when you are away to play with them, clean their sand boxes, give them food and make sure they are healthy and happy. They will send you photos and videos every day and an update on how things are going. The team is very knowledgeable and trained, your cats are in very good hands, and this is truly priceless. In fact, my cats miss them when we return from our trips..!

Gatuari does a wonderful job in taking excellent care of abandoned cats. The owners dedicate their lives to this excellent cause, so if you can, make sure to support them in their cause by paying them a visit!
