Noumades - A Haven for Craft Beer, Wine, and Great Food
Noumades is a haven for those who love good beer, natural wines, and great food. Starting with the beer, they pick out their favorite craft brews (many of them local) and serve them as fresh as they come, straight from the tap.

With 14 taps to choose from, you can find their regularly updated selection listed online. Interestingly enough, you can also find their own beers brewed with high-quality ingredients and hops that the owner Alberto has picked out, as he buys and distributes hops not only in Spain but also around Europe. Expect some gems if you are a fan of craft beer!

But beer is not the only interesting libation on the menu. The owner is very knowledgeable about wine and selects his favorite natural wines from wineries he likes. Make sure to ask him about the options; he’ll be happy to share the intriguing backgrounds of many of the wines available!
The food easily matches the high quality of the drinks at Noumades. The chef is highly skilled and really shines in her execution of the ceviche (she’s trained with a famous ceviche pro in Peru), just to name one example.

I highly recommend you also try the shrimp guacamole from the starters: it’s a dish I would visit them specifically for. It’s fresh and delicious, providing a great contrast to the (very tasty) mains, and the crispy flatbread it’s served with is highly addictive..! The burrata with pistachio pesto is also a highlight as a first course.

The heroes among the mains are their, let’s be honest, pretty mind-blowing burgers. They have perfected the recipes to a T, with some featuring their own special, highly addictive mayonnaise. They offer standard burgers in various formats and smash burgers, and you should try both. I dare to say the burgers here are among the best in the city, which is no easy feat in Barcelona.

There are also other sandwich alternatives such as the shredded rib sandwich, a vegan burger, a vegan seitan filet served with fries, and great cheese options: not just one but three different cheese boards (local, lactose-free, and strong cheeses), baked camembert, and diced and cured Mahón cheese.
The dessert menu is short and sweet, with fun options like papaya cream with cassis, guava mousse, and a delightful chocolate coulant made with chocolate from local chocolatier Simón Coll.

Noumades is a fun, vibrant spot in many ways, and they also organize events regularly. Check out their social media for updates on beer launches, live events, DJs, oyster and beer/wine pairings, vinyl, beer tastings, and much more!
