Snapshot - Okigo Coffee
There’s a cool new coffee shop very close to Sagrada Familia called Okigo. Sagrada Familia doesn’t have a large amount of interesting places to go, but finally it seems things are changing!

I visited it recently and was very surprised with the unique concept they are offering. Here you can customize your drink in basically any way you can imagine: a bubblegum-flavored latte, a hazelnut matcha, a cucumber lemonade, or mix and match any flavor you can think of from the 38 different ones they have available.

The specialty coffee here is of excellent quality, provided by The Miners Coffee (they also supply the matcha), AND they have good food. They’ve put very much effort into their menu of sandwiches and salads: I tried a pastrami sandwich, in a brioche bread and with horseradish (yum!) and I loved it.

They strive to make everything they can from scratch and source the best ingredients they can find. The place is small; you can have a seat if you wish, but many choose their order for takeaway. Ask for their seasonal specials!

Atmosphere: It’s mostly take-away, so it’s people popping in, waiting for their drink, and leaving. The staff is very friendly.
A favorite: The food was very surprising, they’ve put a lot of effort into creating an interesting menu.
Something special: There’s nobody else in Barcelona doing so many different kinds of coffee!
Great if you like: Specialty coffee, and creative drinks.
Perfect for: A coffee to go, something sweet, or a quick bite.
