Orimaki Sushi - Funky Fusion Sushi

Orimaki Sushi has recently opened a new, second location on Travessera de Gracia, and we passed by to visit and try their fun fusion sushi. Their new place has a few tables if you want to eat there, and they also offer takeaway, and delivery if that is what you prefer.

The orders are conveniently placed on screens, where you can pick out exactly which starters, dishes, rolls, and desserts you would like, with images of the dishes and all the ingredients clearly stated. Orimaki Sushi makes fun fusion sushi with Latin American and Western influences, and you’ll find sushi here as you’ve never tried before.

Another unique feature at Orimaki is making your own Uramakis and Futomakis by picking all your favorite ingredients, toppings, and sauces. They also offer vegan options with Heura. The menu is extensive with starters, salads, gyozas, rolls, and little sushi pizzas, which are very popular.

Orimaki Sushi is also a great option for delivery: you can find them in the delivery apps, but the best option is always to go for their own delivery; this way, you can make sure to get the best service as possible and that the food will arrive in good conditions. Even the boxes the sushi is served in is cool and unique!

On our visit we opted for crispy gyozas (you can choose between several different fillings), a Kalifornia roll with a surprising and delicious mango topping, and a tasty spicy tuna roll. Each roll is very filling, with 10 pieces. Next time we will also try the tempura rolls that look delicious! Of course we saved some space for dessert, and opted for an Oreo cheesecake. We’re looking forward to go back and try more tasty things!
