Quimet & Quimet - A Poble Sec Classic
You can’t have been in Barcelona and not have visited Quimet & Quimet. This tapas bar might not become your weekly hangout, basically because it’s tiny and always packed, but you need to go and check it out. It’s small with walls covered with bottles of wine, and a small bar that dishes out tapas at an impressive speed to the hungry crowd. They have more than 500 bottles of wine to pick from, and they’re already the 5th generation running the fort here.

IN A NUTSHELL
Atmosphere: Fun and busy!
Recommended: It’s hard to choose, but the crostini with smoked salmon, yoghurt, truffled honey and vinegar is one of the most popular ones.
Specifics: It’s often filled to the brim and be prepared to stand. It’s not a great place to go with kids or if you have trouble walking or standing for a longer time.
