Tetere - Unique Teas and Tearoom
Did you know that in Gracia you can find a very special place for teas of all kinds? It is called Tetere, and it is a temple for wonderful teas.

The shop is run by Jing Jing Yuan, a tea sommelier with roots in China, and her husband, Ambrós. They have over a hundred different kinds of teas from China, Japan, and Taiwan. They personally visit many of the tea farms and pick out the most interesting teas they find. Some of the most sought-after teas require that you order in advance, before the harvest, to make sure they don’t run out.

Teas from Tetere can be found in many cafes and restaurants in Barcelona, but they also distribute around Europe, especially Germany and Italy. But the shop is open for anyone to visit, and Jing Jing is very friendly and helpful and has endless knowledge about the teas in the shop. For a tea lover, it is such a treat to talk with her and immerse yourself in the world of tea. Tetere has a YouTube channel which is updated regularly, with interesting videos on how to prepare different teas, their travels to visit tea plantations in Asia, and much more.

When you buy teas from the shop (there are so many options to choose from!), you will get a few notes on the bag, including the temperature you should heat the water for the tea to get the best flavor. You can also buy beautiful ceramics, teacups (both new and antique), and various tea-related items in the shop. Tetere also has a web shop with a very large number of teas and accessories.
