Big Al’s American Kitchen - Curly Fries and Epic Burgers

There are burger places in Barcelona, but Big Al’s is that true American style burger place that you need when you want something Big and Tasty (wow, that sounded dirty!). They first opened in Sitges, but eventually they decided to expand to Barcelona.

Let’s start with the burgers. People dream about these at night. I was curious (and suspicious) but I can honestly say they exceeded my expectations. They really are AMAZING. Big, tasty and flavorful. And they have curly fries! And of course milkshakes and huge desserts…

IN A NUTSHELL

Atmosphere: It’s a burger place, so I didn't have high expectations, but it’s cute! And not diner-style as other American-style burger places, but the real deal. 

Recommended: The burgers definitely, and I’ve been told the pulled pork nachos are fantastic. 

Specifics: If you’re brave you’ll choose the enormous Widowmaker, if you can finish it (you’re on time here) you’ll have your picture on the Wall of Fame.

Reservations: They don’t take reservations and it tends to get very busy in the weekends, but the turnaround is quite fast.
