Brunch at Sea With The Egg Lab
One of my absolute favorite brunch places in Barcelona, The Egg Lab, is doing a summer special, during August and September only: a brunch on a sailing boat, out on the sea! This beautiful experience is truly one of a kind.

The sailing boat takes off from Marina Vela, in the city center in the Barceloneta neighborhood. You are welcomed onboard with a drink of orange juice and a refreshing fruit salad, and from there you are off to the sea!

You’ll be enjoying the beautiful scenery of the city, its emblematic landmarks, and the beach, but from a completely different perspective. Once out in open waters, it’s time for some fun: maybe a dip in the sea, or any of the other activities available.

Once you hop onboard again, your brunch is served. The sailing boat comes with a great chef from The Egg Lab that prepares everything fresh for you. There’s a lovely rose and lychee home-made lemonade, and you’ll be enjoying some of The Egg Lab’s bestsellers: an Alaska Royale Eggs Benedict with 72h-curated salmon smoked in-house, with blueberries and fresh avocado, the epic Egg Lab French toast with white chocolate whipped cream and seasonal fruits infused 24h in thyme, and a home-made cinnamon roll with coconut cream and coconut flakes for dessert (you can let them know if you have any allergies, dishes for kids, vegans, etc).

We all know that the sea makes you thirsty, so if you’d like more cocktails, cava, or other drinks, they’ll be happy to help! This lovely brunch experience out on the sea takes two hours, and is done three times a day: from 9h-11h, 11:30h-13:30h, and 14h-16h, Monday to Sunday, and costs from 89€ per person. You have the option of sharing a boat, or having the boat all to yourself. This is wonderful, unique opportunity, don’t miss out!
