Rabbit’s Bar - Tapas and Vibes

There’s a newcomer in town and it’s called Rabbit’s Bar. This vibrant tapas bar is just what this neighborhood (Sarrià-Sant Gervasi) needed!

Rabbit’s Bar is casual, but the dishes they serve are all prepared with top-notch ingredients and lots of care. They have all the classics on the menu (think croquetas, ensaladilla rusa, etc.) but taken up a notch, and exciting unexpected surprises.

On our visit we tried their croquetas, with fricandó and with shrimp, and loved them. You know you get good croquetas when they’re filled with chunks of goodness. A fun surprise was the zucchini flower in tempura, filled with perol butifarra and brie. Something out of the ordinary indeed.

The steak tartar was highly recommended by the team, and even though I’m not the biggest fan I thoroughly enjoyed it here. We couldn’t resist the foie montadito, or the tortilla with butifarra and white beans.

There are delicious seafood options too, such as fresh oysters, and very, very fresh and huge razor clams. All of the dishes came out fast from the kitchen, perfect if you’re hungry!

The team here is so friendly, and will give you any suggestions you need when it comes to the choice of dishes and wines. There are a few tables, but we liked sitting by the bar, where you can watch some of the kitchen team prepare dishes served cold and desserts. The decoration is fun and cool, and fits the vibe perfectly.

You’ll find that the vine selection here is great, and we highly recommend you get dessert: their torrija is a bestseller, and the cheesecake was absolutely delicious. Rabbit’s Bar is a wonderful addition to the tapas scene in Barcelona!
