Franca - Tradition Reimagined
Franca has received plenty of raving reviews, and I completely understand why. The concept, the execution, and the atmosphere are all spot on. Three young chefs with experience from some of Barcelona’s top fine dining restaurants have come together to create something truly exciting: a place that celebrates Catalan tradition while giving it a fresh, modern twist. For me, it’s one of the most delightful surprises of the year.

Why it stands out
Franca is one of those rare places that manages to balance creativity with comfort. The food feels familiar yet new and exciting, rooted in Catalan flavors but reinterpreted with playfulness. It’s elegant without being formal, and it has that sense of fun that makes you want to come back. They also serve a great-value lunch menu worth checking out, for a delightful mid-week treat.
