Gallo Santo - Cozy Vegan Brunch (and More!)
Gallo Santo first opened in Gràcia, and became quickly hugely popular. Their concept of vegan Mexican food is solid and fun, and they nail it every time (read my review of Gallo Santo here). They opened a second location in Marina, and I was excited to check out their new spot where they also have introduced something new and interesting: a vegan weekend brunch!

The Marina spot is really pretty and cozy, with lots of natural light, beautiful decoration, and charming details. They also have a terrace for when you’re feeling like sitting outside.

The brunch menu includes some Gallo Santo classics, such as the delicious sweet potato flats (so addictive!), the nachos, and tamales. From the brunch specials I was really excited to try the Chilaquiles Verdes; they come with a plant-based egg! Check it out on the photo: it looks just like a real egg, and has the same texture. It’s so cool! You can order it with different extras.

You can also pick from avocado toast, a Mexican-style bagel, generous breakfast burritos, a Beyond Burger, and tacos. I really love their tacos, especially the Al Pastor ones, and the Tofish tacos.

What is breakfast without something sweet? There are three different variations of pancakes stacks, of course vegan as everything else on the menu! Pair up your dishes with a freshly made smoothie, cocktail, or aqua Fresca (I love the Agua de Jamaica).
The vegan brunch is served on weekends, and only in their Marina location.
