Snapshot – Maison Choux
Maison Choux is a tiny new spot dedicated to choux pastries, run by a Japanese woman who makes them in a changing selection of flavors. The yuzu was my favorite, but you’ll also find options like azuki from Hokkaido and seasonal flavors such as fig and mascarpone.

There’s plenty to drink alongside them too. The matcha is good, and I especially loved the hojicha latte. There’s also homemade iced tea and lemonade, local soft drinks, V60, cold brew and specialty coffee prepared on a La Marzocco. And if you want to take the choux situation a little further, they also make ice cream puffs (!).
It’s a small place, with just a few seats inside and a cute little bench outside. Definitely one to keep an eye on for the changing seasonal flavors.
