Where to Eat Near Parc Güell

Parc Güell is one of Barcelona’s most visited attractions, but finding somewhere good to eat nearby isn’t very easy.

The good news is that you’re right next to Gràcia, one of Barcelona’s best neighborhoods for eating and drinking. Walk a little downhill from the park and you’ll quickly find excellent tapas, natural wine bars, pizza, bakeries, brunch spots and plenty of places that feel much more local.

Below are some of my favorite places to eat near Parc Güell, whether you’re looking for a full meal, something casual, breakfast before your visit, or a glass of wine afterwards.

Everything on this list is within walking distance of Parc Güell, mostly in Gràcia and around Lesseps. You van find my full Gràcia guide here.

Restaurants Near Parc Güell

If you’re looking for a proper lunch or dinner after visiting Parc Güell, these are some of the places I’d choose.

Fino Bar Gracia Barcelona

Fino Bar

One of my favorite places in this part of Gràcia. Fino Bar takes inspiration from Andalusian cooking and mixes it with Catalan ingredients and a more contemporary approach. Expect creative tapas, plenty of flavor and a very good wine list. It’s small and very popular, so booking ahead is a good idea. Read my review here.

Carrer del Torrent de les Flors, 113 (Gràcia).

Santa Magdalena Restaurante Barcelona

Santa Magdalena

A great choice if you want to try Catalan food somewhere that feels very much like a local restaurant rather than somewhere designed for visitors. The menu focuses on traditional dishes and comforting Catalan cooking, and it’s a big favorite with people from the neighborhood.

Sartoria Panatieri

If pizza is what you’re craving, this is an easy recommendation. Sartoria Panatieri, by Rafa Panatieri and Jorge Sastre, has repeatedly been ranked among Europe’s best pizzerias. It was named the best pizzeria in Europe by 50 Top Pizza in 2023 and ranked fifth in Europe in 2026. The pizzas have a strong focus on excellent ingredients and carefully sourced produce. Make sure to book in advance!

Carrer de l’Encarnació, 51 (Gràcia).

Tapas & Casual Spots

For something more relaxed, a sandwich, vermouth, or a few dishes to share.

La Rovira Barcelona

La Rovira

A Gràcia classic and one of my favorite spots for an easy afternoon. They have sandwiches, tapas and a great selection of craft beer, but I’m particularly fond of their vermouth, which is one of my favorites in Barcelona.

Try to get a table on the terrace overlooking Plaça Rovira. It’s a very good place for people watching and staying a little longer than planned. Find my review here.

Carrer de Rabassa, 23 (Gràcia).

Cafés, Breakfast & Something Sweet

If you’re visiting Parc Güell earlier in the day, or simply need coffee, matcha or something sweet afterwards.

Eatmytrip Barcelona

EatMyTrip

A handy option for a proper breakfast or brunch before heading up to Parc Güell. Expect pancakes, eggs Benedict, avocado toast, bowls and plenty of very colorful and creative breakfast dishes, along with specialty coffee. Their Gràcia location is close to Lesseps, making it particularly convenient if you’re approaching the park from this side. Find my review here.

Avinguda de la Riera de Cassoles, 56 (Gràcia).

Flor de Gràcia

One for pastry lovers. Flor de Gràcia works with sourdough and organic flours and makes some seriously good pastries. The croissants alone are worth stopping for, and they also have bread, cinnamon rolls and other baked treats.

Carrer de Bruniquer, 9 (Gràcia).

Niwa Cafeteria Barcelona

Niwa Cafeteria

One of my favorite places for matcha in Barcelona. Niwa is a Japanese-inspired café with excellent matcha drinks and a calm, minimalist feel. They also serve specialty coffee, and have a range of other interesting drinks and something to snack on. Read my review here.

AMMA Gelato

A completely vegan gelateria on lovely Plaça de la Virreina. Everything is plant-based and made in-house, with interesting flavors and really good ingredients. Even if you’re not vegan, it’s worth a stop. Read my review here.

Plaça de la Virreina, 3 (Gràcia).

Bars & Wine

Gràcia is particularly good for wine bars, so if Parc Güell is your last sightseeing stop of the day, I’d strongly consider staying in the neighborhood for a drink afterwards.

Bar Salvatge

One of the places that helped put Barcelona’s natural wine scene on the map. Bar Salvatge is casual and unpretentious, with a constantly changing selection of natural wines, including wines poured directly from taps. There’s food too, so it works equally well for a glass of wine or an informal dinner.

Carrer de Verdi, 50 (Gràcia).

Pimpla Vins Barcelona

Pimpla Vins

A younger, lively take on the natural wine bar. Pimpla has a fun atmosphere, plenty of interesting wines and a menu of small plates designed for sharing. A good option if you want somewhere relaxed that still feels like a night out.

Carrer de l’Encarnació, 21 (Gràcia).

Viblioteca

If wine and cheese sounds like your ideal dinner, head here. Viblioteca has a huge selection of artisan cheeses and around 200 wines, many of them minimal-intervention, along with other dishes if you want something more substantial. Their wine and cheese pairings are the main reason to come. Read my review here.

Carrer de les Guilleries, 10 (Gràcia).

One More for Later: Casa Figari

If you’re staying in Gràcia into the evening, Casa Figari is worth knowing about. It’s a bar and music venue with live jazz during the week and DJ selectors at weekends. Later in the evening, it turns into somewhere people actually dance and have a good time rather than simply sit with a drink.

A good option if dinner near Parc Güell turns into a full night out in Gràcia.

Carrer del Torrent de l’Olla, 141 (Gràcia).

FAQ

Where should I eat near Parc Güell?

For a proper meal, Fino Bar, Santa Magdalena and Oído are all excellent options in nearby Gràcia. For something more casual, head to La Rovira, while Sartoria Panatieri is the obvious choice if you’re in the mood for pizza.

Are there good restaurants near Parc Güell?

Yes, but it’s worth walking (far) away from the immediate entrances to the park. Parc Güell sits within the Gràcia nieghborhood, and walking downhill towards Vila de Gràcia gives you a much better selection of restaurants, tapas bars, cafés and wine bars, and it’s a popular destination for locals for food and drinks.

Where can I eat tapas near Parc Güell?

Fino Bar and Oído are two of my favorite options for contemporary tapas and small plates. Santa Magdalena is a particularly good choice if you’d prefer more traditional Catalan cooking.

Where can I have breakfast near Parc Güell?

EatMyTrip near Lesseps is a good choice for a full breakfast or brunch, while Flor de Gràcia is better if you just want excellent pastries. Niwa Cafeteria is my pick for matcha, coffee, and other drinks.

Where can I drink natural wine near Parc Güell?

Gràcia has several excellent natural wine bars. Bar Salvatge is one of the best-known, while Pimpla Vins has a younger, livelier atmosphere. Viblioteca is particularly good if you want to pair your wine with artisan cheese.

Is Gràcia close to Parc Güell?

Yes. Parc Güell itself is located in the Gràcia neighborhood, although the main restaurant-filled streets of Vila de Gràcia are further downhill. If you have time after visiting the park, it’s well worth continuing into the neighborhood rather than heading straight back into central Barcelona. The area is mostly pedestrian, and it’s very lively in the evenings.

Is it worth visiting Gràcia after Parc Güell?

Definitely. Gràcia is one of the best areas in Barcelona for eating, drinking and simply walking around, with independent shops, lively squares, restaurants and wine bars. Combining Parc Güell with lunch or dinner in Gràcia makes a lot of sense and is an easy way to see a different side of the city.
