Niwa Cafeteria - Dreamy Drinks
I’m in love! I had heard great things about the new Niwa Cafeteria, and when I took a peek at their Instagram account, I knew I had to go. After paying them a visit, I have to tell you that you need to go too, as soon as possible.

This friendly Asian café, as they call themselves, is so charming that you will not want to leave—or alternatively, you'll eventually have to go home but want to return the next day. The place is cute, minimalist, and charming, and the young team here is very friendly and knowledgeable.

The drinks menu here is a dream. Their matcha is ceremonial grade from Kagoshima, and, of course, it's ceremonial grade because they know what they’re doing. And there’s not just one matcha drink option; there are five different ones. I thoroughly enjoyed the Matcha tallat: like an espresso but made with matcha and a touch of milk (oat milk in my case). It was wonderful: a soft matcha flavor, creamy, and a lovely touch of grass. I’d dare say they’re among the top contenders of best matcha in town when it comes to quality.

Then, we have the “Garden” section of the drinks. We start off with Gessami, which is Jasmine. You can try a hot or iced version or a latte (hot or iced). The same goes for Osmanthus, this beautiful flower rich in aroma that is mixed with black tea for the same options: hot or iced, or latte (hot or iced). We tried a hot Osmanthus tea and a latte, and they were absolutely wonderful. The team visits the tea farms themselves, so they know what they’re doing! They also offer black tea in the same versions, and of course, coffee, and refreshments. They also do specials, such as Mandarina Latte and Wu Xiang Latte, that keep changing.

Niwa Cafeteria also offers onigiri (four different options) and a very affordable lunch deal with onigiri, miso soup, and more. They also have homemade cakes, including a vegan option. It is a lovely hangout to meet up with friends, and I am looking forward to many visits here!
