Barcelona has been blessed with a place fully dedicated to the deliciousness that is matcha, and we couldn’t be more excited! Matcha Crew has a few locations around Europe and the UAE, and they bring high-quality, ceremonial-grade matcha straight from Japan for their creations.
Matcha Crew in Barcelona is located close to Sagrada Familia, but far enough away to avoid the crowds. It doesn’t have much seating, but that’s not a big deal—matcha is a great takeaway drink anyway. And you can walk one block to the Sagrada Familia park if you want to sit down and enjoy your drink and the view.
The menu is extensive, so if you’re a fan of matcha, be prepared to return several times to try everything. They also offer tasty pastries.

Atmosphere: A small, cute, and busy spot.
A favorite: I’m still working my way through the menu, but the matcha soft serve is delicious, as is the matcha yuzu soda!
Something special: You can buy their matcha to make your own at home.
Great if you like: Maison Coffee, but with less seating.
Perfect for: A little pick-me-up!
