5 Barcelona Openings I’m Watching Right Now

I update this list regularly as new restaurants and bars open around Barcelona.
Barcelona rarely gives us a quiet month when it comes to new openings. These are the spots that are on my radar right now.
Cervecería Sra. Virtudes
This new Gràcia spot is a collaboration between the people behind The Fish & Chips Shop, Jabato and Fino Bar, which already gives me plenty of reasons to go. Koku Kitchen Gràcia
Koku Kitchen has opened a new location in Gràcia, which is very good news if you’re a fan of their ramen and Asian comfort food (I love it!). The new spot is on Carrer de Milà i Fontanals (Gràcia). IG: @kokukitchen.
Bar Gros
Bar Gros is a modern take on the traditional neighborhood bar, with familiar dishes done in a more contemporary way. The salpicón de pulpo looks delish. Carrer de Provença, 202 (Eixample Esquerra). IG: @bargros_

Salto Bar
Salto Bar is a new natural wine spot in Sant Antoni with a really good mix of local and international bottles, plus a few things to eat. I’ve already been and really liked it, especially the friendly vibe, the vinyl playing in the background and the window seats. Carrer de Calàbria, 39 (Sant Antoni). IG: @salto.barcelona.
Bar El Patio
Poble Sec doesn’t get new openings all that often, so Bar El Patio caught my attention straight away. It’s a casual tapas and wine bar on Carrer del Roser, and I’ve already heard good things. Carrer del Roser, 80 (Poble Sec). IG: @barelpati0.
I’ll be keeping an eye on all of these and will update Barcelona Food Experience as I try them and learn more!
