Nolita Brunch - Brooklyn Vibes

Nolita Brunch is a true well-kept secret in Poblenou, even though it's only a couple of minutes walking from the metro. When you come in you feel a Brooklyn kind of vibe to the place, and one of the owners, Rami, mentions that his brother (also a co-owner) used to live in NYC for many years.

The decoration is industrial but cosy with lush green plants and sun coming in from the big windows in the back. The kitchen is open and you can see how everything is made right there from scratch, and obviously the delicious smells spread through the place, which is always a big homey bonus.

The menu shows that these guys know brunch. There are brunch staples such as Eggs Benedict, but not only one kind: there are many of them to choose from. We decide the Eggs Bennie with pulled pork was the way to go. Pancakes are a must, but we opt for the savoury ones in order to try something new. Obviously we have to have something sweet: the banana bread French Toast is exactly what we are looking for (see photo in the beginning of the post).

Nolita ticks all the boxes: good food, fun and interesting menu, good presentation, good ingredients, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere. And the fact that it is a bit off the beaten path adds so much to the charm..!
