Parallelo Gelato - The Sexiest Ice Cream in Barcelona

Parallelo Gelato is located on a small pedestrian (very hip) street called Career de Sèneca in Gracia. From the start it was clear that this isn't any old ice-cream shop: Parallelo is something else.

Parallelo has its own laboratory inside the shop, where all the magic happens. The ingredients are locally sourced and only seasonal ingredients are used, which means the flavors change excitingly often.

You will find both sweet and savory flavors here, and interesting mixes you haven't thought about before. I could not contain my excitement when I recently visited them and saw their newest flavor: smoked applewood cheddar with bacon..! Crazy and amazing!

But you can find everything here: black sesame, salty caramel, cava and peach (a Bellini made into ice cream!), pineapple with basil... I loved the coconut and chocolate stracchiatella, and the pistachio made from locally sourced beautifully roasted pistachios, so rich and flavorful. If you are a vegan don't worry: there are good options for you too!
