Raffaelli Ristorante Italiano - A Taste of Tuscany
Raffaelli Ristorante Italiano is a true family affair. It’s a Tuscan restaurant rooted in tradition, where the recipes come straight from the family’s own table, passed down through generations. The charming and cozy three-level space in Gràcia feels personal and lived-in, with friendly service and a calm and lovely atmosphere.

Each morning, fresh pasta is made by hand. The ragù simmers for six hours. And every ingredient is chosen with care: Parmigiano-Reggiano aged 36 months, San Daniele prosciutto, mozzarella di bufala from Campania. These aren’t just products, they’re show Italian tradition through authenticity.

On our visit, the pappardelle with wild boar, pickled pear and Taleggio stood out. It’s rich, delicate, and comforting, all the things I’m craving when visiting an Italian restaurant. The Burrata Pugliese with seasonal mushroom, smokey oil, and fried sage was out of this world, and perfect for a starter to share. The cotoletta alla Milanese was also a hit, and even the sweet potato side was worth finishing.

Dessert, you ask? The open cannolo with ricotta mousse, pistachio and confit grape was as beautiful as it was addictive. Their tiramisu is said to be something truly special, too. The wine list has solid options to pair with your meal.

It’s comforting, charming, and deeply rooted in Tuscan home cooking, it’s the kind of place you instantly want to return to. A good Italian staple to keep in your notes for when a craving hits.
