Tangana - Cool Gracia Tapas Bar

Finding a good tapas bar is not an easy task. Finding a cool one? Even more difficult! But Tangana in Gràcia checks both boxes. And other ones, too.

The team behind Tangana is Alex López Lamiel and Josep Maria Masó, who has a long history at Bar Cañete and who is now spearheading this cool new place with that is very different in terms of its vibe (youthful and fresh) but the idea of using good quality ingredients for dishes to share is still there.

Tangana has been wildly successful since its opening, and walk-ins are not easy, unless you come early. I recommend sitting by the bar to see all the action, or have a seat at the window where you can see the world pass by while you’re sipping on your glass of wine.

The concept is straightforward: appetizers (think croquetas, oysters, huevos estrellados…), a short list of fish and meat, and dishes to share where the chefs get to show off their skills with interesting ingredients and delectable sauces.

As one would expect, you won’t be disappointed with the wine menu. Ask the team for suggestions, they’ll be happy to help you.

Tangana has gone straight to my list of the kind of perfect, fun, vibey restaurants we love to hang out in. I think you will like it, too!
