Five Favorites in Barcelona - Ramen

Every season is ramen season, and I’ve listed five of my favorite places to go for a great, comforting ramen and some delicious sides in Barcelona. If you check the end of the post I’ve also added a few more good ones so that you can pick the best option for you.

Shoronpo

Always a solid choice for when you want to have a great ramen. They are famous for their tantanmen ramen, and you have to order their dumplings. They now have two locations. Read my review here.

Dr. Rizal 20 (Gràcia) and Av. Roma 1 (Sants).

Kobuta Ramen

Chef Hiroshi Yamane first opened in Sants and his ramen spot became so immensely popular that he opened a second restaurant in Eixample. The ramen is fantastic, but there’s lots more Japanese comfort food to be had here. They also have a lunch deal. Read my review here.

Carrer de Súria, 6 (Sants) and Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 439 (Eixample Esquerra).

Koku Kitchen

A few friends put their heads together and opened this great ramen restaurant, and it has now expanded into three locations. Make sure to try their gyozas, too! They have lunch deals on weekdays. Read my review here.

Various locations.

Kanada-Ya

The star dish at Kanada-Ya is the ramen, and you can see the broth in a large pot right by the entrance. But make sure to save some room for other delectable dishes from the menu, too.

C/ de València, 240, 08007 Barcelona

Ramen-Ya Hiro

They were among the first ones to serve ramen in Barcelona, and they still keep the fire going. Ramen-Ya Hiro is very popular, and nowadays you can book a table (it used to be walk-ins only). They also do takeaway.

Carrer de Girona, 164, Local 2, (Eixample Dreta), Barcelona.

Also worth mentioning:

Noru Bar - Two locations in Barcelona. Open weekdays only. No reservations.

Ryu Ramen - In addition to ramen, they also have dishes such as chicken karaage, takoyaki, etc. Two locations in Barcelona.

Ippudo - This famous Japanese chain has landed in Barcelona, I have yet to try it but I have heard good things.

Tonkotsu - Ramen and Asian fusion dishes.

Kibuka Izakaya - A solid option for when you’re craving ramen, and they have a long menu of other Japanese dishes.

Grasshopper Ramen Bar - It might be tiny, but the ramen here is excellent. They also serve locally brewed craft beer.
