Dreamboat Bar & Deli - Disco Vibes & Good Times

It’s love at first sight at Dreamboat Bar & Deli, the effortlessly cool bar and deli in Poblenou where “Every day is a holiday” isn’t just a slogan, it’s a whole vibe. Step through the door and you’re greeted with color, warmth, and charm, but nothing feels overdone. It’s playful, never gimmicky, and full of heart.

The cocktails are creative and full of personality. We tried a light and beautiful peach wine sour, low in alcohol but high in flavor. Then came an adult version of a float with bourbon, cherry liqueur, salt, nutmeg, and a scoop of ice cream: fun and nostalgic, with a grown-up twist. A standout was their piña colada with a hint of cold brew - unexpected and seriously addictive.

The food menu matches the energy: think a 5-cheese grilled cheese with chipotle mayo for dipping. It’s the kind of comforting, satisfying bar food you want with a tasty drink in hand.

Benny, the owner, renovated the space himself, sourcing everything second hand, from furniture to surfaces, and the result is a space that feels curated but completely unpretentious. The team consists of talented, experiences mixologists who also knows how to have fun, and they host DJ sets and events with guests bartenders on a regular basis.

Dreamboat manages to be laid-back, fun, exciting, cute (but not too cute), and quietly impressive. A standout spot in the ever-evolving Barcelona bar scene.
