Gabby’s Brunch - Creative and Colorful

Gabby’s Brunch has consistently been one of the most popular brunch spots in Barcelona, and it’s easy to see why. They first opened three years ago in Poblenou, where they have been charming hungry guests with their homemade, creative dishes. Some time later, they opened Nana’s, their cool and colorful bakery, just a stone’s throw away, and now Gabby’s has expanded to Eixample, where they now have a beautiful new brunch hangout.

At Gabby’s Brunch, you’ll find a large range of mouthwatering options on the menu. Their dishes are inspired by classic brunch dishes, but with their own creative way of preparation and unexpected ingredients. Their kimchi waffles were quite a surprise with homemade kimchi, avocado, and shiso leaf (!), and the Eggs Benedict with freshly baked English muffins and Iberian ham.

The Choco-Ball Pancakes are a feast for sore eyes and are a bestseller here. It is a perfect dish for chocolate lovers, with chocolate sauce, berries, and a chocolate ball on top that you can break with a tiny sledgehammer: inside you’ll find delicious coffee ice cream. There are also many healthy options, as well as vegan, gluten-free, and halal ones.

Gabby’s is not lacking in the drinks department either: they serve specialty coffee made by very skilled baristas, and a wide range of drinks, both hot and cold, ranging from smoothies to juices to matcha lattes and more. If you’re feeling festive, go for the bottomless Mimosas or Aperols! Don’t miss out on their pastries: everything is freshly made in their bakery, and you can even order large-sized cakes for birthdays or other events (see more here).

The owner, Anya, is very creative, and you can see it throughout the menu and the beautiful space. If you’re wondering where the name comes from, she tells us that it’s a homage to her little brother Gabby, how cute is that..?!

For sunny days, both brunch spots have terraces for you to enjoy, and you can bring your four-legged friend with you too! Gabby’s Brunch is among the best brunches in the city, and you can rest assured that you’ll enjoy a lovely experience here.
