El Maravillas - Tapas By a Pretty Square
El Maravillas is a long-standing bar that has become a city classic. It's located on a charming plaça in Les Corts and features a terrace—perfect for enjoying the neighborhood atmosphere. I also love the seat by the window when the weather allows; it's ideal for having a beer or a glass of vermouth with a friend.

The bar is small but cozy inside, so it’s a good idea to book a table in advance. The menu at El Maravillas includes many classic tapas such as Ensaladilla Rusa, canelones, anchovies, and more. I especially enjoy their oysters and cava deal.

One interesting aspect of El Maravillas is that it stays open past midnight every day of the week, and until 02:30 a.m. on weekends. They’re well-known for their excellent cocktails, making it the perfect spot to linger for a drink or two after dinner. The wine list won’t disappoint either, with a dedicated sommelier selecting favorites for the menu.

El Maravillas is easily one of the best tapas bars in Les Corts and is highly worth a visit, whether for lunch or dinner. It is part of the famed Grupo Confitería, which also runs popular spots like Paradiso, Ultramarinos Marín, La Confitería, and more.
