Best Rooftop Bars in Barcelona
Many have requested a list of the best rooftop bars in Barcelona, and because your wish is my command: here is a list of a few of the best ones! Is there anything better than watching the sunset with a cocktail in your hand? Probably not.
Pulitzer Terrace - All the cool kids gather on the rooftop terrace at the Pulitzer Hotel. There is often live music or a DJ on site adding to the atmosphere, and a BBQ in the evenings. Carrer Bergara 8 (Plaça Catalunya).
Terraza Ayre - Go here for the Instagram-worthy views of the Sagrada Familia, it’s so close you can almost touch it (at least it feels like it!). Carrer Rosellón 390 (Eixample).
Yurbban Trafalgar - A relaxing rooftop bar with a pool and views of Ciutat Vella in one of the most attractive hotels in the area. Carrer Trafalgar 30 (La Ribera).
Hotel Villa Emilia - This charming boutique hotel has a wonderful terrace that offers an oasis from the busy streets. On Thursdays and Sundays, they do BBQ (also veggies!). Carrer Calabria 115 (Eixample).
Cotton House - While not precisely a rooftop bar, this beautiful 300 m2 also offers terrific food if the weather permits (it usually does, right?). Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 670 (Eixample).
Casa Bonay - No doubt one of the coolest boutique hotels in the city. Their rooftop is open for guests, and they arrange events now and then, too. Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 700 (Eixample).
Barcelona Edition - The newest luxury hotel is the talk of the town, with its cabaret supper club and bespoke cocktail bar, but their rooftop bar isn’t bad either. They serve food, too: Latin-American dishes with Asian influences. Avinguda de Francesc Gambó 14 (La Ribera).
Azimuth - Beautiful Almanac hotel has a rooftop terrace with interesting events going on such as screenings of larger sports events, live music and ice cream on Sunday afternoons, yoga, and much more. Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 619-621 (Eixample).
Gran Hotel La Florida - Should you want to venture away from the city center make sure to head to Gran Hotel La Florida, and its impressive terrace with views over the city and the nearby nature. Ctra. de Vallvidrera al Tibidabo 83-93.
La Isabela at Hotel 1898 - I know many a fan of this rooftop bar on top of Hotel 1898, right by the Ramblas. The cocktails here are excellent. La Rambla 109 (Raval).
Wet Deck - If you’re looking to party then the Wet Bar at the W Hotel is a perfect option, and as an added bonus you have the Mediterranean right next to you. Plaça Rosa Del Vents 1 (Barceloneta).
Mandarin Oriental - The name already implies that this is something classy. Their Mimosa Terrace is an oasis with lots of plants, and the Terrat offers beautiful views of the city. Passeig de Gràcia 38-40 (Eixample).
Dolce Vitae at Majestic - You’ll often find this terrace filled with both visitors and locals, sipping cocktails to the tunes of a resident DJ. Passeig de Gràcia 68 (Eixample).
