Best Rooftop Bars in Barcelona
Many have requested a list of the best rooftop bars in Barcelona, and because your wish is my command: here is a list of a few of the best ones! Is there anything better than watching the sunset with a cocktail in your hand? Probably not.
Pulitzer Rooftop Terrace, Barcelona.
Pulitzer Terrace
All the cool kids gather on the rooftop terrace at the Pulitzer Hotel. There is often live music or a DJ on site adding to the atmosphere, and a BBQ in the evenings.
Carrer Bergara 8 (Plaça Catalunya).
Nobu Rooftop Terrace, Barcelona.
Nobu Rooftop
The newest addition to the rooftops in Barcelona, and quite an impressive one: it’s located on the 23rd floor of the beautiful Nobu hotel. The views are fantastic, and you can enjoy snacks and delicious and elaborate cocktails while you are admiring the city from above.
Av. de Roma, 2, 4, 08014 Barcelona (Sants).
Tope, The Hoxton, Barcelona.
Tope, The Hoxton
Cool, still fairly new Hoxton has a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant called Tope. It has a Mexican flair to it, with tasty tacos and drinks, and of course spectacular views.
Avinguda Diagonal, 205 (Poblenou).
Terraza Sercotel Rosellón, Barcelona.
Terraza Sercotel Rosellón
Go here for the most gram-worthy views of the Sagrada Familia, it’s so close you can almost touch it (at least that’s what it feels like!).
Carrer Rosellón 390 (Eixample Dreta).
Yurbban Trafalgar, Barcelona.
Yurbban Trafalgar and Passage
Both of these cool hotels have nice rooftop bars, open every day from early afternoon. A relaxing rooftop bar with a pool and views of Ciutat Vella in one of the most attractive hotels in the area.
Carrer Trafalgar 30 (La Ribera).
Dragon Roof Terrace at Casa Batlló
It doesn’t get much more Barcelona than this. On top of a Gaudi building, stunning views, and why not throw in some live music on top of that? The Magic Nights at Casa Batlló is not only for tourists: the experience is very much worth it for residents.
Pg. de Gracia 43 (Eixample Esquerra).
La Pedrera
Almost across the street from Casa Batlló you’ll find La Pedrera, where you also can enjoy balmy evenings to the tunes of live jazz in the summer. 22 concerts, every Thursday and Friday until mid August.
La Pedrera, Pg. de Gràcia, 92 (Eixample Esquerra).
Hotel Villa Emilia, Barcelona.
Hotel Villa Emilia
This very charming boutique hotel has a wonderful terrace that offers an oasis from the busy streets. They have two live concerts on the terrace on a weekly basis, and you can enjoy good food (including BBQ) and obviously drinks.
Hotel Villa Emilia, Carrer Calabria 115 (Eixample Esquerra).
Cotton House, Barcelona.
Cotton House
While not precisely a rooftop bar, this beautiful 300 m2 also offers terrific food if the weather permits (it usually does, right?). You can both have lunch or dinner here, or just enjoy a nice drink.
Cotton House, Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 670, Barcelona (Eixample Dreta).
Purobeach, Barcelona.
Purobeach
This urban oasis is the dream: a rooftop bar where you can actually take a dip in the pool, AND sip on a cocktail on a sun bed. There are resident DJ:s, food (lobster rolls anyone?), and good vibes, perfect for enjoying a day in the sun. Purobeach is located in the Hilton Diagonal Mar hotel, but can be accessed by anyone. You can reserve your sun bed here.
Purobeach, Pg. del Taulat, 262, Barcelona (Poblenou).
The Clock
The views from this hotel rooftop terrace are beautiful. It is located right by Plaça Espanya, and at night you can sip on your cocktail and watch the beautiful music and light display at Montjuic. I recommend having dinner at their restaurant Filigrana (read my review here) or Kurai downstairs before, and then head up to the terrace.
The Clock, Plaza de España 6 (8th floor at Hotel Catalonia Barcelona Plaza), Barcelona (Plaça Espanya).
Sir Victor Hotel
Sir Victor Hotel is a five star-studded situation, with a lovely, secluded rooftop bar overlooking some of the most stunning sights in Barcelona. The drinks are elaborate, and the food is interesting: you can book a table here.
Sir Victor Hotel, C/ del Rosselló, 265,Barcelona (Eixample Dreta).
Casa Bonay, Barcelona.
Casa Bonay
No doubt one of the coolest boutique hotels in the city. Their rooftop is open for guests, and they arrange events on a regular basis. The rooftop is called The Chiringuito, and it involves BBQ and wines (book in advance for this).
Casa Bonay, Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 700 (Eixample Dreta).
Go Beach Club, Barcelona.
Go Beach Club
While not technically a rooftop bar, the Go Beach Club deserves a mention. This beach club on four levels (the pool is on the bottom floor) has impressive views over the Mediterranean. They organize pool parties, they do bottle service, and they have a range of different day beds and sofas to choose from. Book your visit here.
Go Beach Club, Carrer Port Esportiu, 14P, 08930 Barcelona (Diagonal Mar/Forum).
Barcelona Edition, Barcelona.
Barcelona Edition
This luxury hotel is the talk of the town, with its cabaret supper club and bespoke cocktail bar, but their rooftop bar isn’t bad either. They serve food, too: Latin-American dishes with Asian influences.
Barcelona Edition, Avinguda de Francesc Gambó 14, Barcelona (La Ribera).
Azimuth
Beautiful Almanac hotel has a rooftop terrace with interesting events going on such as screenings of larger sports events, live music and ice cream on Sunday afternoons, yoga, and much more.
Azimuth, Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 619-621, Barcelona (Eixample Dreta).
La Isabela, Hotel 1898, Barcelona.
La Isabela at Hotel 1898
I know many a fan of this rooftop bar on top of Hotel 1898, right by the Ramblas. The cocktails here are top notch.
La Isabela, La Rambla 109, Barcelona (Raval).
W Hotel, Barcelona.
Wet Deck
If you’re looking to party then the Wet Bar at the W Hotel is a perfect option, and as an added bonus you have the Mediterranean right next to you. There’s always something going on, and some interesting DJs are invited here, too.
W Hotel, Plaça Rosa Del Vents 1, Barcelona (Barceloneta).

This rooftop terrace has a wonderful restaurant (read my review here), and if you are after a cocktail or two, the bar isn’t bad either.
Terraza Claris, Carrer de Pau Claris 150, Barcelona (Eixample Dreta).

The name already implies that this is something classy. Their Mimosa Terrace is an oasis with lots of plants, and the Terrat offers beautiful views of the city.

Dolce Vitae at Majestic
You’ll often find this terrace filled with both visitors and locals, sipping cocktails to the tunes of a resident DJ.
