Where to get Warm Porridge in Barcelona
When it’s cold I get a serious craving for porridge, what about you? Some years ago it was impossible to find porridge anywhere, but that is definitely not the case anymore!
I’ve made a list of the places I have found so far that have a porridge, or several, on their menu. But beware! Many places take the porridges off their menu when the weather gets warm, which is of course understandable. And please let me know if you know of a place that’s missing from the list!
Bohl has four (!) delicious porridges to choose from! A chia and overnight oats porridge with banana, goji berries, pecan nuts, coconut and bee pollen, a warm cacao porridge with cacao powder, hazelnuts, cacao nibs and date paste (yummm), an apple pie porridge with apple and cinnamon and other toppings and finally a Korean inspired savory porridge with avocado, eggs and chili flakes. Read my review on Bohl here. Carrer de Trafalgar 47 (Eixample).
El Flako - This cute cereal cafe has gone all in with porridges this winter: they have four different ones to choose from! I haven’t tried it yet but their porridge chocolate with peanut butter (and lots of other toppings) looks REALLY good! Canvis Nous 8 (Born).
Maai serves a good porridge with blueberries, chocolate and banana, and WiFi too if you want to work while you eat your breakfast. Keep in mind that they are only open Monday to Friday during morning and lunch. I am very impressed with their great healthy and nutritional concept, so make sure you check out other things on their menu too. Read more about Maai here. Carrer de Regàs 30 (Sarria-Sant Gervasi).
EatMyTrip has a great porridge with so much stuff in it that I couldn’t even finish mine! And they have a warm chia pudding with fruit too, doesn’t that sound intriguing? EatMyTrip has created such a fun concept, I am always curious about their new dishes. Read my review here. Carrer del Consell de Cent 378 (Eixample).
Hammock Juice Station has a porridge that will fill you up for hours, read my review here, and make sure you enjoy it in one of their super comfy sitting hammocks. I pair up my porridge with the salty caramel smoothie, SO GOOD. Carrer de Mallorca 308 (Eixample).
Lulu & Flyn also is a good place for a porridge with apple compote and many other yummy things, including beautiful healthy lattes. Read my review of Lulu here. Avinguda del Marquès de l’Argentera 7 (Born).

Satan’s Coffee has a black rice porridge on their menu, but if I remember correctly it’s not a warm porridge (correct me if I’m wrong). It’s really good though, I do remember that..! And of course you are assured very good coffee here. Carrer de l’Arc de Sant Ramon del Call 11 (Gótico).
Three Marks Coffee - This cool coffee joint has introduced a tasty porridge with seasonal fruit, peanut butter and pistachios for those who are looking to keep warm. Read my review here. Carrer d’Ausias Marc 151 (Eixample).
